DGP has carried Tri-Mix™ tungsten electrodes as an alternative to 2% Thoriated tungsten for over 20 years. Most know that Tri-Mix features three oxides scientifically balanced to promote migration and evaporation rates that result in extended tungsten life and many other improvements over 2% Thoriated tungsten. The improvements seen in Tri-Mix tungsten have often come with a premium price about 1/3 more than the standard 2% Thoriated tungsten.
